We had installed osTicket vs 1.6RC5 using cpanel on hostgator, and everything was working ok.
Yesterday we manually upgraded 1.6RC5 to 1.7, using the update instructions/scripts. Everything worked ok, we can see the older tickets and can create new tickets using the osTicket interface.
The problem presents, when we setup joomla(3.0) + osticky (1.8)
When a user access Joomla, using the email/ticket number, the user can only see the tickets created after the update of osTicket (not the older ones). However, if the user uses the osticket interface, he can see all his tickets.
I initially contacted the programmer of osTicky (Alex), and he checked the setup of osTicky and everything was ok, so, he asks me if osTicket have some kind of workaround to show tickets created in older versions of the program (because osTicky only searches on the standard table of tickets of osTicket).
I know that this is not "strictly" a problem with osTicket, however, this seems to be the place to ask this kind of questions.
