osTicket v1.10 (stable) and Maintenance Release v1.9.15 are now available! Go get it now

Ubuntu server 16.04

Currently running osTicket v1.9.14 (8b927a0) on Ubuntu 14.04. Curious if others have successfully done an in-place O/S upgrade to 16.04 with the do-release-upgrade command.

TIA

Comments

  • I've done upgrades with other OSes... but not Ubuntu. (Debian and moved a install to Window 2008 from 2003. And then to 2012 R2). Maybe I can assist you with any questioners you might have?
  • My question is in regards to any possible osTicket breakage during the upgrade process. Just wanting to know if anyone else has done it and what issues I may run into.
  • The only thing that you really need to worry about is making sure that the softwares (MySQL,pop) meet the system requirements. For example osTicket v1.9.14 does not support php7. I remember running into an issue with a version of php5.4 back when I was running a different version of osTicket and there was a weird issue which ended up being a pho bug.
