Is the claim ticket permission now connected to assign ticket permission?

When an unclaimed ticket is in an open queue....  My users would claim tickets (before they work them) that are part of an issue they are working.

With Osticket 10 it appears that only users with the Assign permission are able to claim tickets for themselves.  

Is this correct? or have I missed some setting in v10?


  • I presume that you actually mean osTicket 1.10, since there is no "Osticket 10" version.

    I do not actually know the answer to your question.  We use Claim on response here and I haven't played with claiming tickets in any other way.
