Ticket Status on osTicket v1.9.14


I kindly require some instance. When changing the Ticket Status from Open to Resolved on this version of osTicket mentioned in the title above, the ticket is moved to Closed. This is challenging as the ticket might not be closed.


  • Resolved is a Closed sub type.  It's doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
    If you want a Resolved-NotClose then you will have to add one as a subtype of Open.

    In 1.10 this is at:
    Admin panel -> Manage -> Lists -> Ticket Statuses.

    I have no idea where it is in 1.9.14 but probably the same place.
