Another daylight savings time issue

I see there is another user experiencing the same issue..

I have osTicket v1.9.14
Web Server Software Apache/2.4.6
MySQL Version 5.5.52
PHP Version 5.4.16
date.timezone America/Chicago

This is running on a CentOS 7.3 server, which has the correct time and time zone selected.. The database even shows the correct time information, but when we view a ticket via the front end, it is an hour off.

  • Can you upgrade to PHP 5.5 or 5.6 and see if it solves your issue?
  • We figured out our problem..

The timezone var in MySQL was set to look at the host system timezone, but it apparently only checked that when the service starts.. The problem here was too much uptime!

After we restarted the MySQL service, everything appears to be correct now.

  • I wish my problem was as easy, still no fix for me.
