Locked out my Agent accounts

Instead of leaving one of my agent accounts as it was (working), I thought I had LDAP (AD) set up right and went ahead and set the agent accounts to use LDAP for authentication. Now I get a 500 error when I try to log in as an agent. Is there anyway to change the setting back so I don't have to reinstall the app?

  • Edit your ost_staff table.  Change the backend field for your account from what ever it is to blank.  This will enable you to use any back end for auth.  Or if you know your local password you can change it to "local".

You would also want to check your PHP error log to see if anything is getting logged. :)
  • I tried to make the changes to the table but the person who installed this does not remember the password for the database. Is there a way to change that so I don't have to reinstall that?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
  • Yup! It is in your /include/ost-config.php
