AD/LDAP authentication works for agents but not users

We would like to set up our osTicket instance to use AD for authentication of users. Not sure why we are able to do this for the Agents but not users. We want users to be able to login and check tickets or create tickets. We don't want to use the account creation through osTicket. 


  • Go to the ldap plugin settings page and tick the Client Authentication setting, this is turned off by default

    A: See the attached image for the remaining settings i use, some information have obviously been replaced.

    Try the Full DN for the search user thats how I got it to work.
