Using two different mail box in a single osticket.

Can we run two different mail box let's suppose and, on a single Osticket platform?
If yes, how do we achieve that?

Following is my server info:

    Yes, we have done that.  Go to Admin Panel >> Emails and create the email addresses you want.  They can both collect from POP accounts if that's what you have set up.  You can configure each to be associated with a different Department and/or Help Topic.  That way, you can have separate New Ticket assignment rules etc for each email address.

  • On mine i use one mailbox with many aliases, much easier. Each alias is added to osTicket as non-fetching system email, but with custom department and help topic etc. That way service@ and orders@ go to the right people.
