Session destroyed warning

I try to export the open and closed ticket using the popup advanced filter and then "view" to have all ticket on the list and then download them but I have the Warning: session_start(): Failed to decode session object. Session has been destroyed in /var/www/html/include/class.ostsession.php on line 62
I didn't have this kind of issue before using server with PHP 5.x but changing to PHP 7 the error has started displaying.

any suggest?

  • osTicket does not support PHP7 at this time.  You will need to downgrade your PHP to 5.5 or 5.6.

    Hi ntozier!
I'm having the exact same problem, except that I'm using php 5.6!

This error happens when I go to the Advanced Search and filter the closed tickets for a certain department. This search throws more than 6.000 results. When I try to see these tickets, this error happens and it shows me ALL the open tickets instead (default page).
Do you think that may have something to do with the error?

  • can you down grade to a pre .30 version of 5.,6 and see if that has any affect?
  • Unfortunately I have osTicket v1.10 running on PHP 7 and cannot replicate your error whatsoever. (I even used your advanced search criteria)
