Install / Configure mail piping - mail ingeration
just want find out what kind of options we have to use full integrated mailing within our tickets in osticket system,
not sure if i understand completly the piping options / idea.
We have an email provider, that offers us only to send/forward mails to an mailadress.
So they could forward mails at email@example.com to firstname.lastname@example.org
(It is not possible to get an independent imap mailaccount as system / proxy account and use in osticket system)
But to use the option of remote piping, as i understand, the email provider needs to send/forward
mails directly to the osticket api via http not to an mailadress?
Or is it possible to send/forward mails at email@example.com to our osticket server as local maildomain, like firstname.lastname@example.org,
receiving mails on this system with sendmail, and forwarding them directly to the osticket system?
