Teamviewer/Logmein integration?

This may not be the right place for this, but i'm curious. Is it possible to integrate Teamviewer into osticket so that i can remotely connect to a users machine (after downloading the program onto the remote machine via webscript)in order to provide live support that way?

  • Subscribed... also wondering this.

    Whether it's for Teamviewer, Logmein, or any other remote support solution.
  • That sounds like a fantastic idea to me.
  • Teamviewer

    I added the ability for users to download teamviewer from ost's front page above the footer.

    open ../include/client

    Then open

    <div style=\"clear:both\"></div>

    Should be the first two lines right after add

    <img src=\"images/teamviewer_logo.png\" height=\"55px\">
    <a href=\"\"><img src=\"\" height=\"55px\">
    <a href=\"\"><img src=\"\" height=\"55px\">
    <a href=\"\"><img src=\"\" height=\"55px\">
    <a href=\"\"><img src=\"images/iphone.png\" height=\"55px\">
    <a href=\"\"> <img src=\"images/ipad.png\" height=\"55px\">
    <a href=\"\"><img src=\"images/android.png\" height=\"55px\"></a>

    The last 3 images i made myself so you may want to replace them.

  • i dont have a partner account or i could probably intergrate partnerlist etc...

    I know this is necroing an old thread which I don't like doing, but I was searching for a solution and eventually figured it out so here it is and I hope it's useful to someone searching for the answer:

    We use TeamViewer in our support environment here and I set up integration in the main page rather than the footer. Here is the code, which I inserted into ./index.php file as follows (note where the teamviewer comment code begins, which is right after the part where the blue check ticket status button is integrated)
        <div class="front-page-button pull-right">
                <a href="<?php if(is_object($thisclient)){ echo 'tickets.php';} else {echo 'view.php';}?>" class="blue button"><?php echo __('Check Ticket Status');?></a>
    <!-- Begin TeamViewer Logo integration -->
        <center><div id="remote_support">
            <h3><?php echo __('Start a Remote Support Session');?></h3>
            <div><?php echo __('Please only use the remote support link if instructed to do so by a technician.');?></div>
            <div style="position:relative; width:234px; height:60px;">
              <a href="" style="text-decoration:none;">
                <img src="" alt="Download TeamViewer" title="Download TeamViewer" border="0" width="234" height="60" />
                <span style="position:absolute; top:22px; left:55px; display:block; cursor:pointer; color:White; font-family:Arial; font-size:13px; line-height:1.2em; font-weight:bold; text-align:center; width:174px;">
                  Start Remote Support
    <!-- end TeamViewer Logo integration -->
  • Here's a picture of the end result:

    As a side note: you could host the download file and image locally also.  Thanks for posting your solution.
  • anyone got an example of Logmein integration please?
  • HEy @ntozier!

    Long time no see!! LOL

    Hey, do you know the area (which file(s)) I will need to edit to make this "Mod" work in 1.10.1?
