setting up pop3 for dummies..some assistance please

I'm a network admin/engineer and am not really familiar with php or anything.

How do I set up osticket to work with my pop3 account?

Which mailbox is it going to use for the fetch part of it?

Default email
noreply email
alerts from email
or system admin email?

Also, what file do I need to edit so it knows where my server is etc?

you have to edit PHP.ini file located in your conf files...

SMTP localhost
SMTP mail.domain.com (smtp server address, or email address settings you enter into outlook express server fields.)
