Admin Login failure

My Insatll went fine. database was created, I set config back to 644, deleted setup folder. But, when i go to my admin page i get this at the top of the page:
Warning: ini_set() [function.ini-set]: A session is active. You cannot change the session module's ini settings at this time. in /home/xxxx/public_html/ost/main.inc.php on line 43

Any ideas?

Sorry, i didn't dig deep enough. i found the fix and commented out the two ini_set lines. the admin panel now works fine in firefox but nothing shows when i try the varoius tabs in IE7.
