installation - can't invoke installer

Hello,

I have copied the downloaded files to this folder http://www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.de/support . The wiki said, that I would need to browse that URL to open the installer. My problem is, that when I do so my browser tells me, that the URL was not found.

I use SmartFtp and set alle the permissions for the config.php (user, group, others, all checkboxes activated)

Where's my mistake?

I am having this same problem, although I have copied the files to the root directory of the apacher server, I still cannot invoke the installer--can you tell me, what was your solution?

It may seem simple, but really it's not everything that you download that needs to go inside the folder, but rather from what you've downloaded there's an 'upload' folder.

Everything within THAT folder needs to go to where you'd like OSTicket to reside.
