admin.php Bug
Hello, guys.
After i have installed the osticket system, it works nice. I have logged in to the support area und clicked on the admin panel. The next step wasn't very nice, the page show me nothing, so a white site. I have reinstalled osticket, but the same problem. Now i have displayed the errors (http://osticket.com/wiki/Installation). It shows me the following: Quote:
Thank you. |

This would not technically be a bug. It seems to me from the error message that you are getting that some of the required php files are missing from your installation.
You may want to try the installation again and be careful that the directory structure mirrors that of the zip file. http://www.osticket.com/dl/osticket_1.6.0.tar.gz You could also double check permissions for the osticket files as well. If the Apache user does not have read permissions for the files, I would imagine that this could cause an error like this as well...(guessing) Though I am most familiar with Windows, the idea should be similar with linux. |

Yes, i've checked it, but it doesn't work, all files are complete.
Maybe you could contact me via mail, icq or something likes this? If you are sure with php and the osticket system, you could install the system und look after some errors, if there are some. I'm availabe at: Icq: 453 302 053 or Mail: audiio@warrockevent.net I would thank you, if you would contact me. |

It looks like you have a couple of different things going on there, most to do with PHP configuration.
It looks like ini_set() and error_reporting() have been disabled (possibly PHP is running in safe mode) and some values that need to be set at run-time aren't being set. That would account for the undefined index notice and the require_once error. As to the others, see here: http://osticket.com/forums/showpost....54&postcount=6 |
