Pipe bug with no subject
Strange behaviour when no subject is given
When a user doesn't give a subject to a mail, the piping just fails. I get an API-error "Create Failed Subject required".
This is IMO not really bad behaviour, but the user gets a "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" e-mail without any explanation, just " pipe to |/home/blabla/support/api/pipe.php generated by support@domain.com local delivery failed" I don't really prefer that behaviour; the user should be warned about the fact that no ticket was created because he/she didn't enter a subject, but not get a complete "permanent" (according to the mail delivery software) error. Btw, I don't know whether this is really a complete bug or also partially a feature request, but I believe it is definitely a bug in the view of user interaction. |
