My osticket 1.6 has worked for 1 1/2 years without problems. Last week and today the same problem appears: Osticket didn't fetch all mails by pop3-import and I don't know why. The mail address isn't banned, there is no message in systemlogs. The mails aren't suspicious, but all mails has the flag "read" (I don't know why). Last week I answered all mails without the ticket system and deleted them. After this Osticket worked normaly again. Do you know a solution for this problem? Regards Alex |

From my experience, the only time it doesn't fetch mail is if there is an error parsing the email. Deleting the one offending email will usually clear things up. I suppose that you could change the fetch routine to just delete anything that it errors on parsing. But if its truly something important it would be gone.

I do have the problem again.
Today 10 mails have been fetched, 2 mails not. 9 of this 10 mails were sent from our web application (structure identically), 1 mail not (this mail was fetched). How can I test, why the last 2 mails are not fetched? I will compare the mail headers. Kind regards Alex |
