Default Closing e-mail Template

Hello Ladies & Gents,

I’m new to this forum and have nothing to do with OSticket normally other than as an intelligent user (our development team normally do all this stuff but they are somewhat busy on other projects) so please be forgiving if I’m being stupid.

I am trying to configure the Alerts a customer receives when we close their ticket currently they get the message response alert which is fine as it’s our answer but they also receive a ticket closed alert immediately afterwards this is causing annoyance. How can I editing the final closed ticket template it currently looks like this.

-------------
Your support ticket with id #ASTCXXXXXX has been closed.

You can view this support ticket online here: http://testing.testing.com/view.php?e=e-mailaddress goes here.co.uk&t=ASTCXXXXXX

--------------

Also can I turn this automatic response off?

I'm using v1.6 RC5

Thanks in advance for your help.

Richard

it sounds like you are replying to a ticket and then closing it afterwards... you could try using the close on reply tickbox? - i cant find an option to disable the ticket closed autoresponder either.

Just re-read and done some testing realised that i am running 1.6ST - i dont send any notifications when a ticket is closed...

Hi Hotwired007,

Thanks for your response, that is correct i am using the close on reply tickbox.

I don't have the option to change the Version at this stage as i'm not incontrol of the servers. I do hope someone has knowledge of where this closed ticket e-mail is coming from and how to go about changing it.

Regards,

Richard

Yes I know you said that you cannot right now, but you should really upgrade to the latest ST(able) release. Or at least start working on gaining access to the server(s) so that you can upgrade once 1.7ST is released.
