all perfect now... something to remember and put in knowledge base... could not find it on google at all.....

back at home now... it was the SElinux service that had to be disabled - whether you can get around this issue, without disabling the service I'm not sure. However it fixed it... maybe useful if anyone else as the problem / issue.

Thanks for posting your solution. If I get a chance (and remember) I'll look into if there is a way to get around this with out completely disabling selinux.
