Default Lost DB password...

Hey folks, I am trying to help a collegue out whos department is using OS ticket. We are trying to view phpmyadmin, but we do not know the root password. I am wondering if I can find this somewhere inside the OS Ticket install.

I found mysql.php in the include folder that $dbuser and $dbpass variables, but I am not sure where these are set in the application, or if they are in plain text so I could read them. Any help appreciated.

It depends on the version of osTicket that you are using, and/or when you installed. The DB Name, User, and Password can generally be found in:

/include/ost-config
or
/include/settings.php
